Bayern 04 Leverkusen - FC Bayern 3-0 Highlights MD 21 Bundesliga
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich were stunned by Bayer Leverkusen in a 3-0 defeat on Matchday 21.
Leverkusen took an early lead through Florian Wirtz in the ninth minute, and doubled their advantage just before half-time through Moussa Diaby. A late goal from Patrik Schick sealed the win for the home side.
The result leaves Bayern Munich eight points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund, while Leverkusen move up to third place in the table.
Bayern Munich had the majority of possession in the first half, but Leverkusen were dangerous on the counter-attack. Wirtz opened the scoring with a fine finish from the edge of the area, and Diaby doubled the lead with a shot from close range.
Bayern Munich pushed for a goal in the second half, but Leverkusen defended resolutely. Schick sealed the win in the 87th minute with a clinical finish from inside the area.
The defeat is a major setback for Bayern Munich, who are now eight points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund. Leverkusen, on the other hand, will be delighted with the win, which moves them up to third place in the table.
